We had one of the nicest days so far this year in Olathe, CO. Temps got up to 66 degrees, full sunshine, and moderate variable winds in the 3-8 mph range. Just Me and a buddy that I shoot Steel Challenge with, Brian Kittell. Brian had never shot any kind of BR before, and I let him shoot a HPX with 25.4 RD monsters. I shot a HP gun with 40gr slugs. He had a lot of fun and I think he did pretty well. He told me he had a few shots where he held on the edge of the target box and still blew into a 7 on the other side. My biggest hold was 8 ring...but I didn’t shoot when we had the intermittent gusts. He learned a lot, and I think he will do better next time.

Aw, shucks....don’t mind that. This here feller don’t shoot but a target or two now and then.

Steve, the tuner does as expected. It moves the positive compensation window up and down. Doesn’t seem to make it any wider, though. Currently it’s from about 855-885. Step out of that zone by 5 FPS up or down and you will be rewarded with a pretty low shot.

Thanks, Dick....It’s moving forward.
