INVICTA FIELD TARGET MATCH MAY 1OTH
Eight people came out to the match, the threat of rain had been zero the night before, but just before the match started that changed… went back to 30, then 40, then 70 percent my noon. That meant by 11-ish it was raining, but everyone kept going and finished the course! The wind was very deceiving, and caught out a number of us, was very hard to gauge it for some reason?
Roz made a visit, he came out to deliver his old shooting harness to Brent, who, as our last hunter shooter, is going to try Open class. They spent their time at the practice range, and it looks promising for Brent.
Danny came out to the match, he has been shooting a lot of PRS recently with some first place wins under his belt, unfortunately he caught a bug earlier in the week and was still under the weather, but we are very happy he came out, and he still shot a decent score.
Brad, as usual, beat me to the range, and was weed wacking around the course to make it as good as it could be for everyone, as well as running strings, he really is the clubs MVP, and shooting his 11 ft lbs TX200, he also shot the joint top score for the day, sharing it with Mike shooting his high power PCP!!
As the next match would have been on a three day weekend, and historically that would be a very low attendance, there will be no second match this month, so I look forward to seeing you at the next one on June 14th.
