Request for FX Streamline disassembly video

Hello Friends,

Ive done a few simple things to my Streamline, but really need something more than just the exploded view fx diagram. Is there someone willing to do a brief FX Streamline disassembly video? FX has done them for their other guns but has moved on to the Dreamline and forgotten our beloved SL. If a video exists I cant find it. Any help much appreciated,

Kerry

Hi FX,

I guess better late than never. This gun has been out over 2 years.

I bought a FX Streamline July 2018 from Ontario Canada distributor. I live in Vancouver and have weekly bird control contracts at Vancouver airport and grain terminals. Twice I have had trouble with my Streamline pellet probe jamming. Twice wrecked magazines and twice sent it to the distributor in Ontario (other side of Canada). They have treated me well but has it cost me US$300 for shipping back and forth and two magazines, and pellet probe. The gun is 8 months old.

The Ontario company said to me last week "easy fix! just pull the trigger off and remove the bolt."

What good is that when I don't know how? With no tear down manual, the gun is like a Chinese puzzle.

Further, I am not some clumsy twit. I build and run complex 3d printers, I'm a journeyman pipe fitter, and build performance street cars. Im mechanically inclined.

FX has a good warranty. Where?

We hear you. FX USA was set up just over a year ago for the very reason of providing better service and after purchase tools for shooters. We've been going 100mph to get these videos up to date as well as service our rapidly growing US market base. All good things but of course comes with the bandwidth growing pains. We'll get to you though!

If you look up dreamline disassembly on yt a couple of videos should come up. It’s not the sl but it’s the next best thing. The guns are pretty similar. Hope it helps!

Although it is now dated, this inquiry regarded the Streamline, now out of production, I think. I believe the Streamline is the same action as the Royale series, so maybe some of that information would be beneficial.

@JadeC I found a couple of videos showing how to disassemble the Dreamline Classic. But, since less than a year ago since FX-USA wrote that there was a Streamline video in their pipeline, I just wanted to know if they were still planning to release it.

@elh0102 IMO, given that this is a 2-3 years old model, the need for such a video is even bigger: after a couple of years of good service, will most pcp rifles not need a complete rebuild? I'm sure that I'll have to replace orings at some point... I'll search for videos for the Royale. Thanks for the advice !

I found all my Royale O ring sizes on the exploded parts list on the FX site. Except for the bottle vs cylinder connection, I think you will find what you need there.
