FX Remove pivot pin in cocking lever

Hi i am trying to replace a damaged linkage in the cocking lever in my Impact FX Mk2 but there is a pivot pin that needs to be removed in order to fit the new part.

Can anyone tell me how i can remove the pivot pin please?

The top of the pivot pin on one side has a black color section while the other side does not have the same section & has a different finish.

Do you know what side of the pivot pin is supposed to go in from the top of the lever please?

My experience is that pins should be punched from the left or bottom. Never had to do what you are so I can't be sure.
