Remington NPSS 22 cal

Hello,
I've had this gun I don't know how long with thousands of pellets through it. I was wondering is there any kits for it. It has settled down some but could still use a smoother shot cycle. This was my first attempt at springers years ago and it has killed a lot of squirrels with the old center point on it. It's been setting in a corner for years now and got it out this morning to check it over. Also, is there any info on breaking it down for inspection. I have never done anything but shoot it.

With it being a gas ram probably not.

Check your stock screws especially the one by the trigger

Shot cycle should be good with a gas ram

I have taken it out of stock and cleaning it up. The screws were really nice and tight.

You can still do some of the things to a gas ram that you can do to a springer. Clean out, deburr, polish, check the piston seal, light coat of moly. Also helps to put a drop of silicone on that gas ram arm so when you cock the rifle and it slides in the ram body, it lubes the seals inside the ram.

Ok great I need to get an 18" wood clamp to compress so I can fully strip it.
