My name’s Jake, I’m a machinist from Ohio and I have 3 nice air rifles and a few beaters I don’t shoot. I have a HW97k .177, a HW50 hunter .22, and a Walther Terrus .177. I look forward to contributing what I can to the forum. I was lazy/down in the dumps for a while and haven’t shot any of the pellet guns in months but will be getting them out here soon. I have vortek pg3 steel kits on the way for both Weihrauchs as well as five different pellets on the way for HW97k. I’m looking forward to getting back in the hobby and chatting with fellow air gunners.

Thanks for welcoming me back. Sorry for the confusion but I don’t have any new guns on the way. The vortek kits are for my two existing weihrauchs. 12 fpe kit for the 97 and normal a normal velocity kit for the 50s. The pellets are to find out what pellet the HW97k actually likes. I’ve run a couple sample packs from rws, jsb, and h&n but I didn’t shoot past 10 yards with them so I really don’t know what it likes yet.

Welcome and if you are from Ohio, there are some field target clubs and an airgun show in Columbus in July, I believe.

Field target looks really difficult but fun and I’ve been trying to make it to the airgun show in Columbus for two years now. This year I am definitely going.
