Regulator or on gun pressure gauge

As I start my tuning adventures along the same quality processes employed by two experienced airgun shooters on various airguns, I purchased a regulator to maintain various pressure levels delivered to the air rifle while tethered. Once a tune has been found for a specific pellet or slug I will then match the regulator pressure in the rifle to that shown on the regulator output line.

Checking velocities with a LabRadar will confirm the in gun regulator adjustment matches the velocities while the airgun was tethered.

I noticed the pressure on the output side of the regulator does not match the on gun pressure gauge. Should I assume the regulator gauge is more accurate?

Tricky question. "Accuracy " with these gauges is questionable, in the ballpark but probably not precise. I'd probably go with manifold gauges (tank output regulator).

I'll know more after I adjust the on gun regulator using my HUMA regulator tester to match the external output pressure from the external regulator. Then I'll confirm muzzle velocities and see if it matches the MV when the gun was tethered.
