Regulator creep. What's acceptable to you?

Just filled my leshiy 2 from 100bar to 250 bar and let it sit for 1 hour. Currently shooting fx 15.89gr at 945-950fps. First shot on this fill was 967fps. 2nd shot was 946fps. This is my 3rd time doing this test since aquiring the gun. So im confident to say my first shot after a fill on average will be 20-22fps faster than my tune. Not a big deal at all and my poi at 50 yards remains the same. To me this is perfectly acceptable. How about you? What are your experiences/expectations of your guns regulator?

I agree, if the POI is indistinguishable at the max range you will be shooting, that is really all that matters.

Though I can’t help but point out the first shot being faster is indicative there is a bit too much hammer strike. You can back off the hammer spring tension a little and close up the delta.

Only problem is no hammer on the Leshiy2....

Also want to mention is this just after a fill or after shooting and let it rest. After a full fill I've had similar things happen. But can be different than just letting gun set after a few shots after the top off

I may have low standards, but what is acceptable to me is that there is no creep within the day of shooting. I am not disappointed if there is a change overnight, remedied by a shot or two to get the reg to settle back to where it was set.

I only have two guns that do this, the others hold well.

I’m opposite. I want no creep at all. I very often grab a gun for a quick shot when I see something in the back yard. If I have to take a shot first to remove the overnight creep, I could spook the animal. My L2 is the same, it creeps when first filled, then stops after that and holds solid for weeks. This is why, after a fill, I let off a couple shots to stabilize the reg. Then I’m good.

Might also be worth your time checking the accuracy of your gauge. From what over gathered most gauge currently in gun can easily be out 2-4bar across full scale…especially if u take temperature into consideration.

the other thing that comes into play…depending on the design of the gun. First shot being slow doesn’t mean reg is creeping, could be a valve striction issue. Oring having to break loss after sitting for a while.
