Regulated rifle shot count question.

Suppose, with a full fill, you get 50 regulated shots with a pellet. Then, refill. Take a Chrony reading every 10 shots. Nine of them without pellets. Will you still get 50 regulated shots? Or, will having less resistance to air movement give you something other than 50 regulated shots?

It will use lot more air when shot without pellet
