Regulated fill station ideas

Usually I use a Huma digital gauge inline to double check my refills, but couple weeks ago I got interrupted with some talking from a side and by mistake the gauge got into a wrong unit. I noticed that in a very last second before overfilling from my 320-ish bar tank.

So I am in a hunt for a regulated fill station now which shall eliminate any human errors - hopefully. And also I may have a good use for tethering as well once the weather allows the outdoors again.

Looking at that older model Ninja the price is overkill, at my place exceeds the $500 CAD, the new model cost even more.

Researching online, currently not seeing anything more affordable solution. Any advise? other then next time pay more attention :)

I got one from Joe at Airtanksforsale.com many years ago. It sits on my SCBA tank and is very similar to the Regman one linked above. IIRC, it was in the $350 range. For me, it was a good purchase and well worth the $. I set it, and forget it and no longer have to watch my rifles as they fill.

I also have a HUMA inline system setup for my Omega Patriot tank. It's not as convenient to set the pressure on but, again, it's nice to be able to fill and not worry about going over. And, it has a lower price tag, at $250. The big downside for using it on any non-DIN valve system is that it gets a little convoluted with all the adaptors. The safest way is to put it between air lines so you don't over stress the tiny Foster fitting.

(Note: Remember that regulators are one-way systems. They need to be removed from the system when refilling the tank.)

I would use it as inline only and not attached to the bottles. Set it about 210 ish and forget about it.

Tinkering between the Huma or the Altaros inline regs, each have pros and cons on its own, but almost half price to Ninja or Regman2.

Looks like the Altaros can be used real inline-inline between hoses, they include all the fittings for it @ modest 130 euros piece price.

... the Huma or the Altaros inline regs

So I contacted both sources with a same question, I need fittings for quick disconnect on both ends to be able to conect inline between two hoses, also the reg to be adjustable for pressure let say in between 170-250 bars.

Got the answers back, Huma doesn't have the foster fitting for the DIN end, and Altaros is busy with other projects cannot give me an undivided attention at the moment to increase the pressure variance to 250.

Anyway, my best guess I can make either of them to float my boat.
