Hmm, been thinking of the same thing, different gun.

I'm still learning, but it seems there's just too many things that "could have" been previously abused and missed by the rebuilder during the refurb. check. The main one being firing with too low a pressure on a regulated gun. Too many trigger squeezes with no pellet.

I bought a refurbished, high end Canon camera lens...from Canon a few years back. The first thing I checked, the lens lock, a VERY obvious thing, was bad. Had to send it back for...repair..! This is a $2500.00 lens...why wasn't it given a high priority check rather than cursory "look over" ?

  • All necessary accessories are included.
  • Our refurbished airguns have a 90-day warranty. For more information about our warranty policy, please visit our Warranty Page.

I have purchased as many new items with issues outta the box as used items with issues. It seems if you are gonna have an issue it will usually show it self rather quickly.

One of my first refurbished hatsan I accidentally shot out all the quiet energy shroud parts because I just had to take the end cap off and see exactly what was in there but I forgot to tighten the end cap back on when I was done and Hatsan graciously sent me all the lost parts free. That was very nice of them as it was all my fault so yeah I will definitely purchase another without hesitation.👍

Great way to save money. I've purchased several refurbs and have Never had a problem. Frankly,if one Does have a blemish,it just eases my mind as I dont have to sweat it every time it gets taken outside. (It's inevitably gonna happen anyway, right?)

If a problem comes up,in nearly every case I can fix it and if it's really a glaring defect,it can usually just be returned.

Above is an example of one of my "refurb" purchases. 22 Kral Puncher Pro. 5/8" or less 12 shot groups at 50 yds. Originally $550. Picked it up for $379 w/free shipping.

Exactly 👍,sweet looking shooter too.

Picked up a Flash Pup 22 referb. Had a crack in the stock, and a small mark on the breech. Notified Hatsan, and they sent me a new stock. Said the small mark on the breech was a cosmetic blem and would not change performance. The gun is a real shooter, and with going through it, to clean and polish a few peices, has become one of my favorite toys. A penny saved is a penny earned and a penny towards the next toy.

Both of my Hatsans are refurbs, an AT44 QE Long and a semi auto Barage. I've had no problems with either rifle. The Barage has been a reliable semi auto shooter, it has yet to fail to fire that next shot. Neither rifle had any blems of any kind, either on the stocks or on the metal work. One rifle was actually sent in a Hatsan hard case. Been happy with both, if I was buying another Hatsan, it would probably be another refurb.

I received my refurb gladius the other day and I'm impressed. Didn't get the hard case the new ones come in, but it was double boxed and the foam lined hatsan cardboard box allowed it to arrive from the post office in one piece. They sent 4 new magazines and obviously didn't check the stocks mag holder as it had three still in it for a total of seven magazines. Also received the fill probe, hammer spring adjustment tool, degasser, manual and assorted O-rings. Didn't have a 22 caliber pellet on hand that the rifle liked so I ordered some through pryamyd air. Overall I'm very pleased. Love the power adjuster. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will perform as well as my at44-10 25 caliber rifle.
