Can the moderator be removed? It seems to be either glued to the shroud or part of the shroud?

Mine screwed right off... But I bought it used so maybe the previous owner had removed it before I got it.... Usually a heat gun where the threads are should work. The threads are near the middle of the moderator.

If you mean then newer ones (selling now) then yes as the advertised prices I see say that the moderator can be added for additional $$$, not included is advertised price.

It is very difficult to separate from the end cap because it's glued deep inside the reflex and the threads inside the reflex are hard to reach to heat up. Most of the time the end cap unscrews from the shroud instead of the moderator coming off where it's glued to the end cap . After many failed attempts I ended up having to buy a replacement end cap from AofA. Mine was inside of a Daystate Regal but it's attached the same way as your Bantam.

Sounds like too much trouble to remove so I will just put the shroud and reflex LDC from a 22 cal on a 177cal and put a LDC on the 22 cal.
