Tuning Redwolf with a twist

Hi all, had a bit of a project over the last couple of months, a good friend got me a Redwolf block. It was a bear block so we had to make some bit's to complete it. We decided to do a removable bottle system like FX and some others do so you don't loose all the air when changing bottles.

We made a front block with a bottle fitting to accept the FX bottle valve. We also had to make a trigger frame as we didn't have this bit, we also wanted to have a pic rail on the block but wanted it to look like it came from Daystate rather than a bolt on item. We machined a pick rail with a dove tail in that would slide on the block then drilled and tapped the block for a good secure fitting and then anodised all the bits

We machined up a .177 barrel and pellet probe to fit then made a shroud. We got a lovely blue stock so fitted a rail to it and this is the finished job. I am very happy with how it came out, it seems to work a treat you can swap bottles just like you can on a impact, the pic rail looks like it should, and overall the rifle looks a great IMO 👍
