Redwolf magazine actuator pin

Hello.

Can someone with a brand new Daystate Redwolf tell me if there new Redwolfs still come fitted with a old style magazine actuator pin or not ? I bought the newer style self indexing magazine a couple years ago and am forever replacing the magazine actuator pin as its breaking all the damn time so do i not need it anymore ? Will it cause any power loss if i just leave it out and just carry on with the newer style mag ?

You can replace it with the new style pin/plug. And you will then be limited to the new style mag.

Correct, but I think the OP has an older rifle with the actuator pin, and it can be converted.

Hi - have a 65 fpe red wolf .25. Built June 2020. Had a actuator pin. Got dealer to remove it. No problems Carm magazines. Recommend them , cheaper and better than Daystate.

Lights out accuracy- no fliers caused by poorly machined magazines, on my .25 around shot 6 and 7 with original mags

Agreed, just get another mag from Carm. Then you won't have to worry about that pin.
