Redlight hunting but no Coyote tonight

If you have a strong LED flashlight with a lot of lumens, you can get a red filter for it off of amazon cheap and just tape it to the front of the flashlight (or tape inside of filter cap to make it fit) if it's too large (measure front bell of flashlight before buying), just make sure it isn't too small! Like this one. I put one on one of my flashlights....

Can't hunt at night with thermal or infrared in Arizona so gotta use a redlight. Definitely gonna need a brighter red light but tonight wouldn't have made a difference. Saw a ton of tracks in this area 2 days ago but nothing last night, all I saw was a cow and her calf and a rabbit. Got out there at 2:30 am and nothin all night :-(

@ZekeZX10 Which red light are you using? I have a couple of different high-powered torches, not to sell, but I may be able to recommend a couple.

Here's my little 500 lumen light I've got mounted

@ZekeZX10 Pictured below, I’m running the NS750 Double Trouble on my M357 (a single torch). It’s a bright beam that reaches out there. I can change colors too. I have red and green bulbs.

With coyotes super bright is not always best, you want light bright enough where it will light eyes up at a good distance and to where you can see there body outline good enough to make the shot. Hunted them for years and even with a red light if its super bright they will spook a lot of times.
you want it to where our positive its a coyote your shooting but not lit up like a football stadium. Makes it a lot easier if you have a partner to run the light and a shooter. The Wicked Lights Scan Pro is the set up I have, 3 light colors and dimmable all the way down to candle brightness for walking in. Head lamp and gun light.
If walking into a area you want a walking light thats just barely bright enough to see to walk, coyotes are hunted all the time so if your flashing a bright light around everywhere they will notice.
Make sure to set up to where its not easy for them to get downwind of you without seeing them.

I just wanted a bit brighter, last night I saw some eyes but couldn't make out the outline of the body @ 80yards, not sure what it what.

That is a nice feature. It’s one of the mounts that can be adjusted. I use both lights I recommended. The major benefit offered by these lights is having a dimmer. Of the two, the NightSnipe has the better dimmer. There are two different dimmer switches. They also make headlamps.
