I put a redfield revolution 4x12x40 on my .25 FX verminator. I had to use high rings to get the clip to clear. I also removed the quick release barrel knob that was large since I won't be changing the barrel much and replaced it with a hex head screw. That gave more room for ring placement. I also like that I could angle the trigger face to the right to fit me better. I haven't sighted it in yet, too dark now, but hope it shoots as good as my syn-rod.
