Redesigned JSB .22 cal 25.4 grain Exact Jumbo Monster

My fx impact loves the 25.39 redesigned umbo monsters. I'm firing them at 860 fps average. at 35 yards the group sizes are about .3 inch. I see no reason why they will not perform at 100 yards. I am using a ST barrel. Waiting for the 700mm slug, A, and B liners. My .22 maximathor likes these too.

Here is a 10 shot group I shot on a sunflower leaf at 80 yards. 5mph crosswind, JSB Redesigned 22cal, 25gr going 960fps out of the RW HP. Pellet has been working very well for me.

I've worked with these a bit. Accuracy was good up to 50 yards, then went to hell. You have to shoot them really fast for 100 yards, 960fps is great! Please post the results.

Mike, I did some testing with these a while ago, just 3 shots or so. I posted it to my Mini Carbine thread. Here is a screenshot of those shots at my standard 30 yards. The Chrony was not reading that day. They felt slow, but, they grouped well. Perhaps adding that plenum?!!

I have been hitting sparrows very consistently at 100 yards with this pellet.

I’d be interested in knowing if they are as accurate at 950 as at 860. Also what your calculated BC is at those two speeds from the LW Poly barrel? Thanks,

I know this is an old thread, but I just tested velocities for these in my Brocock HP .22 (with LW poly barrel) at 2 yards from the muzzle and 50 yards from the muzzle. I was getting an average of 893 at my near distance and 773 fps at my far distance. Using Chairgun to calculate the BC, I came up with a BC of 0.0517. This is quite a bit higher than Hard Air Mag, but my gun also shoots them faster than in their test (https://hardairmagazine.com/ballistic-coefficients/).

Accuracy is looking promising with my new (Thanks AoA!) barrel. Here are my first 20 shots (5-shot groups) with this new barrel at 50 yards.

The Redesigns are averaging 766 FPS out of my Bantam. They are good to 50 yards for me, my Bantam lacks the power to send them accurately at 100 yards. A five shot group at 40 yards.

These are very good from my R5M out to 70 yrds. 880 fps ave. Haven't run them longer yet. They hit tree rats with authority. 

I do get an occasional flyer like 2 MOA off which seems pretty weird... Suspect it's skirt deformation, I haven't been culling pellets really. 

TBT the Hybrids are so accurate out of this gun/tune I have no need to use the monsters...

Ive been shooting them at 1030 in my Huben. I'm amazed at the accuracy I'm getting. In my R5M I only tested to 980fps. They seem to shoot even better at 1030 than 980.
