Red wolf warranty in the us.

Davecole,

I called AoA and was told I would have to pay to ship it to them and then they charge $75.00 to look at it and then I would have to pay return shipping. I am thinking of buying a red wolf that was made in Oct. of 2018 from a seller on the west coast and I live on the east coast, there is more chance of it getting damaged in shipping then it's worth. Does anybody know who to contact from Daystate there has to be a better way. I am not going to send a mint condition rifle all over the country. It's not worth the risk.

Everyone is different, but I don't see why you would be worried about shipping the AG coast-to-coast. They ship them from England to the US. And then from the dealer to the buyer. I've bought AG's from all over the place and had them shipped to me...some in cases and some just well-packed and all have arrived without issue. A Daystate Regal XL, a Cricket .25, a Taipan .22, a Flex .30, a Slayer .308, a Sumatra .22 went back and forth to Will Piatt. I always have them insured, of course, but every AG arrived fine and dandy.

Just a view from someone that's dropped about $6K in privately shipped guns from all parts of the US. Take it with a grain..

From the Daystate website:

"Daystate prides itself on its outstanding customer service. Every rifle in the Daystate range carries a 3 year warranty with a full factory back up service."

"The warranty applies to the first purchase of a new rifle and is not transferable to subsequent owners."

Perhaps AOA is able to extend protection to a subsequent owner on its own. I expect they would make more in transfer fees than they would ever spend on "subsequent owner" warranty claims.
