Red Wolf Safari 22 - 0Db 110c or 160c??

Just picked up a Safari and a friend demoed the 110C - seemed pretty quiet to me. I called AoA to place an order and was told that for the Safari, I should go with the 160 and order one size larger, so .25

Does anyone have experience with both? Do you recommend the 160 over 110? Do I really want to go with .25 vs .22, seems it would be a touch louder. Maybe I'm overthinking this.

I also spoke to them about installing a picatinny rail (like an Atlas) and although they do it, they say they just install it using two pan head screws, no backing plates. They also indicated that it sits flush with the stock, but I don't think it will. Maybe it's "close enough."

Seems like I'd want something more like this rather than just wood screws..

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Shot it briefly over the weekend and 22 RD at 985 on Mid power looks promising!

Thanks

I have the .22 HP RedWolf with the ODB and a .177 HP RedWolf with the ODB and the .22 still has a fairly loud crack on high power, definitely too loud for my backyard if neighbors are outside.
The .177 HP RedWolf is backyard friendly on full power with the ODB moderator.
If silent shooting is absolutely critical I’d go with the bigger one.
The .22 HP definitely has a sharp crack to it compared to the .177 HP.

As far as a rail mounted on the rifle I ended up getting this beauty, it ain’t cheap at $290 but it mounts with just the main bolt and it’s really really solid.
It extends the bipod way forward for great stability.
