Red Wolf .22 polygonal barrel twist rate.

LW barrels always have a 1:17.7" twist rate for air guns as far as I know. Is that the case for the Red Wolf as well?

I was also under the impression that they were 1:16 twist. In fact it was Michael Wendt that posted it.

Pretty easy to find out for yourself if you have a dewey cleaning rod, coated for .22 or larger-stainless for .177! You can get really close, may not be able to discern a 1/2 turn or less accurately though?

I don't personally have a red wolf .22 polygonal barrel but I would appreciate it if someone did check it as I'm considering buying one.

I suspect they're twisted differently because of there better performance at long distance.
