N/A Record Jumbo - Oval Mainspring in a Concentric Air Pistol

Hey AGN gang,
Just picked up another concentric air pistol for the collection. Very happy I found one of these. It was unfired until yesterday. The fact that it's the only spring air pistol made with an oval shaped compression chamber that I have ever seen. I am fairly new to air pistol collecting so there are lots I've never seen. The oval mainspring and chamber make this a desirable item according to the write-up in the Encyclopedia of Spring Air Pistols.

It is odd, that the screws on the cocking level are marred on both sides of the gun. The only marks on the airgun are factory errors. Does anyone else have experience with these air pistols?

so, you jumped into the deep end of the pool on that purchase
so first off go to Protek in the UK and put their kit in with the pistol to have, it is at the bottom right side of this page
http://www.proteksupplies.co.uk/misc-parts.html
that seal is being made in the UK by a very cleaver guy and to have one is important
the rub marks would indicate that the arms are bent in and have been for some time and i guess could be bent so they would stop rubbing
parts are near impossible to find
and some info

about all i can do
good luck mike

no i live in Washington state
i see you are in big with Hy-Score, people are asking very absurd prices for those now
i went down the Diana rabbit hole with 5's and 6's and 10's
and a lot more rabbit holes
till about a year ago there was no oval leather seals available
one of the members on the UK forum decided to make a mold and made some for himself and after that it was i will take one and i will take one and then i saw them on Protek and that effort from him is now saving the pistol

Interesting engineering.
Maybe a hobby experiment from one of the Honda engineers/designers years ago, that made a Honda race engine with...yes,,,oval pistons.
