I just bought my first pellet gun: a weihrauch hw50s. I've been buying pellets at local stores just to compare how cheaper pellets shoot out of it compared to "nicer" pellets. I was looking at ordering some JSB pellets. Which pellet from jsb do you find shoots best out of this gun? The diabolo website lists a lot of different pellet shapes. My gun is a .22. Most important characteristic is accuracy for me. thank you.

I have better results with H&N 8.64 grn. Out of mine. JSB worked best in most of my PCPs though.Every gun can be different on what pellet even if it’s the same make and model.Since yours is a 22 caliber though, I would try medium weight pellets in that. Maybe something around 14 to 16 grn.

I suggest trying both the 16 and 18 JSB. If it doesn't shoot well with either of those, clean the barrel. If it still doesn't shoot well, sell it. I've never had a .22 that would not shoot at least one of those very well.

My .22 also prefers the H/N FTT 14.66gr 5.53 headsize, but H/N excite plinking also works realy great

HW50s is a low power gun, around 10-11 FPE, I think.
I would start with something light. 15-16 gr. will probably be the heaviest you'll want to use.
I've found the pellet samplers from straightshooters.com to be pure gold.
