Tuning Recommend a Repairman

I’m ready to ship my Air Arms S410 off to a professional to have it repaired/retrofitted for an up to date compressor coupling. I value customer service very much. Please give me your opinions and/or experiences on who and where to send it with contact information please. Thanks in advance.

I have one gun that has been tuned by him. Knowledgeable and honest guy. I appreciate honesty far above anything else.

Scott is as good as there is and a terrific gentleman besides. I have used his services on my various air rifles several times with total satisfaction.


Having said that, I have changed out all of my rifles from the AA priority fitting to a standard foster fitting myself. It is easy to do.

Air Venturi serviced my AA510, was done pretty quick, and shipped back nicely packaged.

Easy if you can get the parts. The one on the right is what they sent me. I called them and they said I needed to send them the gun.

 David Slade may be another option. I certainly do like the way my trigger came back on the old (16mm shroud model) he worked on for us.

edit: They are a very simple design to reseal yourself as long as nothing is seized up.

Although best known as the maker of RAW air rifles, he now operates a custom shop where he does other work. Honest, capable, and easy to work with. He is in TN, and as you are in CA, you might prefer Scott, with whom I've done business and recommend also.

Just talked to them(airguns-usa) and they said that they don't do repairs on Air Arms products.

 Straight Shooters(great customer service) gave me the phone number of several repair shops for my Air Arms s410 rifle. I made a phone call to David Slade at Airgunwerks. He personally answered the phone and was very helpful and forthcoming with pertinent information, especially about how to ship it safely. So, my gun is now on it's way to be rejuvenated. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping I see it back on my doorstep before Christmas. Until its return, I'll be down to just the one springer- RWS 54.

I tried calling Air Venturi yesterday...got to listen to their muzak on the phone for half an hour before giving up and calling David Slade at Airgunwerks. He picked up right away and was extremely helpful. Guess who got my business?
