Been squirrel hunting some with my air rifles, been hunting with airguns only for last 15-20 yrs.
Guns used were a BSA LIGHTNING XL SE .22 , RWS 48 .177 and I killed some more with a AIR ARMS TX200 .22 and a Turkish Webley Tomahawk .22,the pics w/o a gun were taken with the Webley Tomahawk no pics of TX or squirrels killed with it. Used H/N FTT pellets in all guns.
Sorry posted same pic twice of BSA cant get it deleted.

Your Lightning looks to me like a Birmingham made gun, thought the SE's were Turkish made?

Nice rigs and that's how you hunt with a springer! SALUTE
I was told its a Turkish gun when I bought it, there isnt anything on the barrel saying what it is. On the scope mount it has a warning about reading the manual or something and says Lightning on top of rail plus something else thats covered by the rings and cant see at the moment.
I bought it tuned by the guy who used to power tune the Webley Patriots his name was Chris, cant remember the name of his business.
Gun will shoot 5 shots into a 1/4 in at 13 yds with a few different pellets and will do the same at 25-30 yds if I do my part.

That gun is guaranteed a Birmingham gun…
