Sometimes it is the little things which can bum you out, or bring joy to your shooting day.
I've got pretty large hands/fingers and sometimes it is kind of a pain to remove the protective covers off the fillers of some of my guns. Trying to grip and pull the Daystate cover out of the well can sometimes be frustrating due to little room and really strong magnets. Sometimes the o-ring type cover over a Crown's fill probe seems to get kind of cocked and doesn't want to come off. And both of my RAWs are older guns, and even though I put a little Alphabet org on their inner o-rings to try and improve the friction fit, the caps still seemed kind of loose.
Love the magnetic dust cover which AOA sells, of which I got a couple on used guns. Works really great, but kind of spendy when one has several guns to outfit.
So I found this place - TC Paintball Products on eBay. Googled the name and found I could purchase directly from them off their web site. Bought a bunch of their magnetic fill nipple covers at $5 a pop, and couldn't be happier with them. Good communication from them when a little issue came up with the order, and quick shipping. The ones I got were the 'bullet' form factor, since I thought they might be a little shorter based on the pictures. But if you don't like that style, they have another. Lots of colors to choose from too!
Oh, and the RAW fill nipples, unfortunately are alloy or something and non-magnetic. But fortunately the FX covers I replaced with the new magnetic ones work great on the RAWs with their o-ring friction fit. Check your fill nipple with a magnet before ordering!
I have no relationship with this store (other than the recent order I placed), and I get no type of financial compensation from them. Just satisfied with the price, quality and function of this product I purchased from them.
Bullet Style Magnetic Fill Cap
Hex or Cylinder Style Magnetic Fill Caps
