Do you have to spend big bucks to get 24x clarity? Has to be tough, as it's going on a RWS 54.
Reasonable 6-24x scope, that's clear at 24x, AND springer rated?

Mendopellet, I have a rws 54 running @ 22 fpe with jsb 18.1. An Aeon 6-24x50 sit on top. Glass ok to 20x but get a little fuzzy at 24x. On 20x teamed up with strelok pro and the stars line up soda cans @ 100 yds is possible. Not bad for a $250 scope. Many choices. Check out Joe Rhea videos on scopes.

I've had a UTG 6-24X50 on my 54 for 2 years now. I find it to be tougher than a 5 dollar steak and acceptably clear for around $130.00. Just throwin' this out there.

I think the quality of the less expensive glass has improved over the last several years. I sold all my Leopold and Night Fotrce and Burris scopes and have been buying used Nikons ( made in the Philippines) on eBay for around $200 or Chinese made scopes at the local gun shows. I still believe there is a place for scopes running thousands of dollars but I'd rather spend the money on the gun since I am not shooting in condition that require perfection. If you put a $200 scope on a $2000 rifle you've probably got almost as much as a $2000 rifle with a $2000 scope saving $1800 or do you dissagreed? If you can afford to have it all. Great
