I just received some iron sights for my Crosman 2240XL. I’m far sighted. What’s the best location for the rear sight? What are the pros and cons for mounting at the rear vs more towards the center?

A longer sight radius will yield greater accuracy. Generally want the sights as far apart as you can get them.
The front sight is the one that should be in focus.

I’ve moved the rear sight all the way back and it’s a major improvement. This thing is now a tack driver for the length of my yard (100 feet). Thanks for the feedback.

It will work with plastic and steel breeches. Mine had a week delay getting through customs, but it was worth the wait.
