I have owned my Sniper 
a few months now and this gun has really grown on me, I have adjusted power from 25 to 37 foot pounds and everything in between. I really wanted a Wildcat but since seeing the Sniper at the Shot Show I patiently waited and am glad ai did.
Really liking my Bantam Sniper HR .22

Shot count? Accuracy? I love my Compatto and definitely want to add the Sniper to the stable...

I’m on the fence between a Bantam Sniper .22 and a Wildcat MkII .22.
I know that they both are great guns... just can’t decide. Each choice has certain benefits that the other doesn’t.

If the Bantam was a side lever it would be a no brainer, too bad you need to do so much scope movement to cock the bolt. Also the bantam mag prices at a hefty 82 bucks is nuts. I love all my Daystate PCPs but just wish they shared some stuff with Brocock. Same mags would be nice. I could buy a nice WC with what I have in Daystate mags alone. I would do the WC Dhart, I love how my Compact compliments my RW. I will probably be peddling my 2 Renegades on here soon. I want another Edgun sooner than later.

I also have a Crown .25 and the side lever is nice but was concerned about the Smooth Twist barrel X and regular favoring mostly JSB pellets, the Sniper has a LW barrel and it is able to shoot a wide variety of pellets accurately, my Crown only shoots JSB pellets accurately. My Sniper likes Cheap Crosman Premier 14.3 gr pellets, Some JSB Exacts, H&N Barracuda, H&N FTT. Right now I am shooting the 14.3 gr Premiers at 955 fps and am getting 90 shots from a 240 bar fill. Without touching anything on the gun if I switch to the 21.1 gr Barracuda's the Sniper shoots them at 845 fps, that is over 33 foot pounds ! I do not have this kind of flexibility with my Crown, its JSB's or nothing unless I try different X barrel liner.

I, too, wish the Bantam had a side lever. The Bantam I had did require quite a bit of force to cock the hammer. Not that it was a problem. I think I will go with the WC MkII, though a Bantam Sniper in .177 may join the pride down the road a bit.

bzizzi... I joined your ranks, bud! Stopped by AoA today and decided to go for the Bantam Sniper HR .22 (instead of the FX Wildcat MkII, which I also like very much) for two reasons:
1) I want the ability to dial down the power for lower-noise/close-in paper punching, and
2) living close to AoA - any service or warranty issues can be taken care of locally/in person.
AoA needed a day or so to get the rifle set-up and adjusted well, as they aren't arriving from Brocock to AoA completely adjusted.
I also decided to go with a Hawke Sidewinder 10x42 fixed-magnification scope. The clarity and image quality with this single mag scope is stunning! It also has an illuminated reticle. For my backyard application (25 to 40 yards or so), the 10x power will be perfect.
I don't know that I would ever bother to try it, but I understand that you can adjust the Huma regulator to bump the power level up to about 50 fpe, which is interesting - that's about the same power level as my Red Wolf .22HP.
For moderator, I'm going to try both my Huggett and a DonnyFL Shogun.
I like how light weight and compact the Bantam is. Can't wait to push a lot of pellets through it!

My HR has quickly become my favorite, very accurate, quite, easy to handle a real nice gun and i dont mind the bolt action and ive had the side lever guns too! She is a 22 cal. Donnyfl sumo, and Hawke scope.

Does it favor any particular pellets? And what bi-pod are you using?
Also, is information available about adjusting the trigger lighter?

DHart i shoot the 18 grain jsb's thru her, seem to perform the best! Its a clone bipod i think of a Harris, wrks fine!

Element, my Sniper really likes the JSB 18.1's as well, at 50 yards gun prints 3/8" groups all day long, shooting them at just under 900 fps, I also have good accuracy with the inexpensive Crosman Premier 14.3 gr in the tin, shoots them at 1/2" , Velocity for the CP's is 960 fps. I love this gun ! By far my favorite PCP to date, I rarely shoot my other guns anymore. Looks like we have the same clone Bipod. At $1299 shipped it has turned into one of the best value priced PCP's I ever owned.

Bz it sure has, its the only 1 i shoot primarily! Wish i had 1 in .177 i love that small caliber for sparrows close on the bird feeder! I will try those crosman preimers see how they perform in my gun...
