Realistic shot count for Royale?

OK, Royale owners, what shot count are you getting and what power are you getting them at? I've been hoping for results similar to what Steve is getting, but now I'm wondering if that's a realistic expectation... So guys, what are you seeing from your Royale? 

(Oh, yeah current model with reg and CF bottle!)

I only fill mine to 200 bar and shoot 6 mags and then refill. I could get more shots, but I don’t want to shoot it until it falls off the reg.

Thought I might have some data from when I had my 400 but don't, sorry. I would guess 70 or so.

Thanks guys. Are your rifles shooting around 30 fpe? Do you happen to know your regulator pressure and or hammer spring settings?

I'm trying to temper my expectations of getting 100 shots at 30ish fpe.

it depends on what power you have yours.....

Yeah pellet weight, reg pressure and pellet speed will all pull this number around. I just got my .22 setup and gonna head to the range probably Wednesday and see how she does. I'm leaving the reg set at 150 and will use the HST to fine tune Hoping for at least 70, I get 55 shots at 55FPE with the kings and about 45 solid ones at 60FPE with the Heavies in .25 on the reg. I'm not shy about shooting past the reg point and really only notice a POI drop in the 120-low 130's range.

Maybe Steve had the reg set around 110-120 to get 100+?

My old, unregulated, FX400 prides 50 shots between 180-140 BAR at high power withi 20fps ES using 18 gr JSB.s. On medium power the ahoy count is ca 175 shots.

Thanks again for all the feedback. I do think my expectations for the shot count for gun are not realistic. I was basing it on Steve's review here of the FX. The video should begin playing at the shot string (9 minutes 20-ish seconds):

I've not hear of anyone getting 100 shots at 33 FPE. Six mags (72 shots) seems to be the norm for the rifle's typical power.

That’s still a good shot count.. might as well get the crown? .25 you can get 70 shots easy at 46 ft/lbs.. I’d imagine the .22 way over that.. if the gun works that is lol I’ll wait till they fix the bugs and get a 700mm Barrel for the crowns and not just for the impact x..

I have the older royale 400 with the alloy bottle and regulator. With a 220bar fill I get just over 100 shots at approx. 30fpe before the pressure drops off the regulator at 130bar. Turning the transfer port wheel down to low gives a ridiculous shot count too. Love it!

@stinkajames, that's great especially considering the alloy bottle is smaller than the carbon fiber bottle! And yes, the shot count is ridiculously high at the lower power settings! Shooting more fragile targets like this at the lower power setting has been hugely fun
