Kinda looks like his left hind leg is bad. That may account for his poor health. Get rid of him if you can.

I tend not to shoot the foxes around here, they keep the mice and rats in check. As long as they don't get my hens, I'm fine with them. If I see one suffering or sick, different story. This one in the pic is definitely no bueno.

Definitely a young fox, looks like a Red not a gray. One thing that happens to predators in areas where people poison squirrels with wharfarin baits is that the predators catch and eat the sluggish poisoned animals. The cumulative effect of the wharfarin they consume makes them weak and susceptible to mange, which that fox looks to be suffering from.

Definitely a red fox from how long the legs are. I don’t have chickens so zero issues with foxes, we have grey foxes as they keep the rodent population in check. If I see a sick fox like that I definitely will put out some dog food for it to help it along. Too bad I don’t have many squirrels to feed them these days.
