I once pumped an 80 cubic foot scuba tank from about 1000psi to 3000. I don't bend my knees and was around 50yrs old back then. But those pumps don't hold up well.

Ive gone thru a few, and gone thru compressors too .... its a matter of shooting a LOT, or less to me.

I tried that too a loooong time ago and guess what? The FX pump seized up. Good thing I guess. Probably would have had a heart attack if I continued. YO!

Holy cow! I managed to pump my Impact with .5 liter bottle from 100 to 250 bars, that's one good workout that I don't want to do again. Good thing my electrical pump should be here within a day or two and even at 150 bars I get quite a few shots in on lower power setting.

Deafdog, if I tried to match your fill method, I'd be Deaddog!

I'm a real man - I just don't like to show off so I take out the Shoebox whenever I need a fill.......
