That pic is my 50 cal. I did shoot at the cans with 338, 375 and 50. I stopped shooting the 375 before I hit one. The wind was 20+ mph with gusts even higher.

Right after you built that gun we shot the .375 at 560 fooling around in AZ. Was amazed at how effortless it was to hit 12" plate. Lol Guns amazing

Many thanks for the replies, I have a .375 cal TJ barrel 30” long and a mould which I believe Nick of NSA designed . It casts 199 gr , I also believe it’s the same slug Cedric shoots, Dyotat100 would this be the same slug you use. I ask because I purchased this barrel and mould sometime back and it has just been lying in my cupboard. I have been trying long distance (250 m) with a 224 cal, but with mixed success.

I have a few bullets I use. I do have the bullet your talking about. I was shooting it that day.
What gun is the 375 barrel for? Main thing is you have to have enough HP to push them fast enough. I'm shooting them 950-980 fps on 3000-3300 psi.

Man Doug, go pick up that trash laying all over the place and buy some steel to place out there to shoot at! Where I live the powers that be keep closing the areas we used to shoot in for this very reason - people shooting at whatever, making a mess not cleaning it up. Not saying you aren't cleaning up your mess??!!

I thought my 35 cal Jkhan N400 ( 150 fpe) might be acceptable, I ended converting it to a 30 cal ( 100 fpe) Pellet shooting rifle.
I might consider building a regulated (200 bar) dump valve air rifle, electronic trigger, no hammer, press buttons to charge dump chamber . No 90 degrees air flow bends, should be able to produce 400 - 450 fpe.
