My buddy shot this group at 100 outdoor, he has f class experience, this is his first time shooting at 100 yards. 7 shots, the lonely hole was his first shot for wind judgment.

Yep! You'll need the probe also-but you can get that from Martin or Ken for about $18. Then its a magazine or single shot tray and you should be good to go!

Have to be careful, these barrel are made for the reciever perfection, the cf sleeve is cut for perfect barrel depth into reciever block, if there is any variation in reciever size the carbon fiber sleeve wont let the barrel be seated properly on the probe side.

Hey folks, I’m sitting here beating myself up and after being in contact with Ken I know I can make this LW .25 Barrel work with a new probe but I’m just caught in a spot, I can buy this barrel and fit to my .30 and just change barrels but then it’s like I have 3 .25 airguns, my Wildcat, the Hatsan BT65SB Elite QE.25 and the the HMx 30 with the .25 Barrel and I don’t really need all that, maybe I’m over thinking this or maybe I just need to sell the Wildcat Patriot and do the wait for a HMx .25 LRT plus I have around 25 tins of JSB 25.39 pellets and would have to reinvest in 33.95 pellets if I got this barrel...
How can something so simple be so tuff hahaha...

Think it’s time to go shoot oh and FedEx just dropped my new replacement phone off so I need to go to town and have it activated.

JIM seems like u got some figuring to do personally id dump the hatsan instead of the wildcat ...starting summer hours at work and we no longer work Friday s. Which is perfect talked to SANDRA LAST NIGHT my 25 cal HM1000X LRT POLY shipped yesterday due fed ex on Friday i may go to the center and pick it up instead of stairing out the window all day ..that way i can shoot all week end..i THINKING the same thing shoud i get a 22 barrel and probe or the whole rifle ..decisions man it can weigh on u. If i get the barell i have my new RAWreg testing tool to set the reg. Or maybe get a reg already set to 22 cal. Who knows. RACHEL AND LEAH AT AIR FORCE are nice to talk with .but its not lIKE speaking with SANDRA AND MARTIN .PAT

"Brian10956"I’m getting close to ordering my first RAW. What caliber do you think is best for 100 yard target shooting and what size groups should I expect. What is maximum distance for decent size groups for a good marksman. My range is 200 yards max. I can get 6-8 “ with my crown 25
Tough question to answer: best ballistics = .25 cal heavies (mk I); best groups = toss up with the .30 cal, but Martin says .30 cal beyond 125 yards. I haven’t shot the two enough at 100 yards to say decisively, but at 75 yards, the .30 cal has shot .230” best to date, and the .25 cal was like .430”.

My gut feel is the .30 cal edges out the .25, but just slightly.

So, I bought a used HM1000X in 25 caliber used about two months ago. It was shooting great until I put it across a chronograph. I noted the ES was 37 upon one string and 43 on a second. Accuracy was good, and I would have been satisfied with it if not for the ES. I was playing with it and developed a leak out the breech. I was told I needed a new valve stem. To make a long story short, my gun was old enough and had an older valve for which they do not make parts anymore. So I thought about ordering a new valve but decided to send it back to Martin for him to install the valve and then tune it back to his specs.

I have not put it over a chrony yet, but the accuracy is way better than what it was before. It is actually boring to shoot at 50m yards as I hit everything I shoot at. So I have taken it out to 100 yards and am shooting about 3 inch groups. I expect that to improve as I get more comfortable with hold-overs at 100 yards.

I had heard so much about these guns and now I can see why. Thinking seriously about another in 22.
