Same total length of the gun. Its 40% quieter than original one.

I emailed SPAW and he only got adapter for existing moderator and not replacement, which is a option but makes already long gun even longer.
Also looks strange to me to add two different material moderators on top of each other but some folks may like it, I'm very surprised no one is making replacement moderators for them ,they will sale like hot cakes.
Love my 30 cal. RAW rifle and is not going anywhere ,and was planning to get .25 cal in tactical chassis but moderator issue pushed me in different direction.
Still looking to quiet down my .30 cal with one piece moderator, don't mind if is different material or couple inches longer but not 4"-6", if you guys know anyone who can make one please let me know.

when you finally get tired of the noise you do this! next will be to fix the ugly! but this thing 25 cal. is VERY quiet...i thought the raw sounded like a screen door being slammed , a very ugly sound to me, not just loud but awful sounding for such a beautiful gun

You can actually do one yourself if RAW will still sell you the parts.
I bought 2 more chambers for the stock moderator from Martin a year or so ago and bought the matching carbon fiber tube and made an extended version of the stock moderator.
Yes is it longer 4" as each chamber is 2", but it made the .30 as quiet as my .22 and it was no more expensive than buying a 3rd party moderator.
If I had a spare barrel I would consider experimenting with stripping off some of the carbon fiber encasing and making a reflex design to save space.
The down side is if you did this then to remove the bottle you would have to remove the barrel first since there is a clearance issue.
My understanding is there is enough variation between years, models, barrels used etc. that it has been very difficult to make a universal design.
There in lies the rub when it becomes it works for this one and not that one you have to make so many variations that it becomes cost prohibitive.
Is it a carbon wrapped unit, is it a steel barrel only, is it a titanium wrapped barrel, Is it........
you get the point.

having removed the offset moderator and installing a 1/2 in. adapter i can now screw a nice big moderator on for bench shooting , or a short moderator for out and about, or go without to keep the gun shorter, i really dont want a fixed moderator just for that reason

the after market moderator was in my understanding a joint venture with SPAW AND DONNYFLA,,,, I TO TOOK MY 30 AND 25 OUT IN THE BACK YARD FOR A WHILE YEAH THERE LOUD... OTHER THAN THAT THERE ARE A DREAM TO SHOOT .. I SEE HUMA MAKE A AFTERMARKET REGULATOR NOW.. AT ONE POINT A YEAR AND A HALF AGO I HAD A BOUNCE IN MY REGULATOR THAT WAS WAY OFF .AFTER A BIT IT SEEMED TO SETTLE DOWN ,,STILL GOOD TO KNOW HUMA HAS THEM ALTHOUGH I BEEN TOLD RAW HAS A BETTER REG THAN MOST

that ah boy.. she looks so sweet laying in the field.. to say that bipod looks ridiculously nice on a great looking stock is understating it ,,I always been a fan of that style stock,but somehow always ended up with the LRT STOCKS I GOT 3 STOCKS FOR 2 RIFLES AND WOULD LIKE TO PICK UP ANOTHER SOON stock in that style in the summer some time ,we will be waiting for some results ,,good luck and stay safe PAT

I think now is the time that we should stop praising the looks only and focus on good methods of using extended plenums to get more power or to get more shots.
These technical upgrades are very necessary otherwise RAW will become technically obsolete.

Dear sir,
I have taken all these pics from Theobe Rapid forum. There some people are really doing great modifications.
I don't have complete pics with stocks as I have not done it myself. But I understand that these things are quite doable.
Such modifications increase power and if we don't want more power it translates into efficiency.
I have myself installed valve designed by Bucketboy who is a tuner of RAW and Theoben rapid.
I can witness that the efficiency has improved alongwith the consistency.
I have also installed SSG that gives good results.
I request tuners to focus on RAW for improvements.
