RAW REPORT

Beautiful gun Kdog!! I wish that RAW still offered this deep forend option. Uj

Yes this isn't the first time I've heard that,,,,I'm sure it will be pretty heavy with this stock but i normally shoot off sticks and the bench so it won't be a problem.

This is my first ever .20 and the previous owner said it shoots lights out.....any other RAW owners have a .20?

So i was lucky to buy this RAW HM1000 .20 used the other day. When i first saw this rifle a year or so ago i said damn thats a good looking RAW. Overall length is 40" and has the deep belly FT stock and i believe its the first ever RAW in the blue/charcoal laminate. The previous owner bought the laminate blank and sent it to RAW for the rifle. Looking forward to getting my paws on this one.

nice pick up ,thats the picture on page 1 of the RAW REPORT, its still up on RAWS FACEBOOK ACCT talked to MARK B about those stocks MARTIN worked hard on the design but didnt sell many ,that was part of a pair with a yellow charcol being the other ,,20 cal seems to be the odd man out more of a specialty set up its handsome

Yes he still has the yellow one and it's a .177....this blue one and the yellow one were owned by the same person.

Well, they’re not REAL photos yet, since the atock isn’t done and is without a heartbeat yet...

Sean,

Nice looking stock.

Is anyone using the single shot trays?

I got one with my .30 and I really like this thing. When shooting off the bench I load the first then seat the pellet, before I shoot I lay a second on the small radius right up against the probe. After the shot it is real easy to just roll it directly into the ready position.

It also forces me to slow down and be a bit more deliberate with the process. I just ordered one for each of the .22 and .25 cal's from Ken. If this was already discussed I apologize for being a goober.

Craig

Thanks Craig. Regarding the SST’s: yes, I have them and use them all the time in .30 and .25 cal. When I get a .22 cal target action for my stock, I plan to get one for that also.

I loke that you can load them far back (with the back edge of the skirt hanging off the tray, nearsst the probe) and then use the probw to slide it into the barrel. I feel this is a very consistent method of loading the pellet for each shot when I am shooting groups.

For $12-they are a mandatory accessory in my opinion...

2- questions, 1-is Ken @ SPAW selling sst’s for the HMX action 2- SMH77 is that BM stock inleted for one of your HMX actions?

1) I believe Ken can get the SST's for the actions (HM1000X) in any caliber, but not for .357 caliber (I don't think Martin sells those yet). If not, you can go onto www.rapidairweapons.com and find them under accessories and simply buy them online.

2) Yes, this is setup for my HM1000X (.25/.30 cal) action so all I have to do is drop the action into the stock (after bottle removal / reinstall, of course). I plan to get a dedicated action to leave in the stock permanently at some point - likely the high power .22 action to shoot the heavy .22 cal redesigned JSB's that have been shooting so well for others...

Just inspected the TP hole in the action of HM1000X .25 60 ftlb. It is round. But the TP in the barrel is rectangular.

What can be the reason of this mismatch?

If the TP in the action is round then TP in the barrel should also be round to get full potential of power I understand.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Looks like less technical matters here and more cosmetics?

Just waiting for the response from those in the know.

Thought i would share these two groups shot today, let me preface these: 1- both shot off same bench, same flags, same exact distance (66yds) 2- TM-1000 shot earlier almost no wind, HMX-1000 later wind picking up (head-tail wind!) 3- TM shooting jsb 10.3’s, HMX shooting AA 18’s both weighed only!, the upper yellow dot was for sighters, lower green shots were for record (HMX only) some may not be impressed that’s ok! but found it interesting anyway... one more note TM has standard LW 12 groove!

I know the next question most will ask is: why 10.3’s not 13.4’s?, good question, the 13’s seem to destabilize after about 55yds give or take depending on temp etc. they only shoot @ about 770fps(chrono’ed only one time when new?) shoots the 10.3’s around 875fps this is the way it was sent new from Martin, and it shot the lighter pellets so well I didn’t want to mess with it!
