RAW purchased by AirForce

Am I just late to the party? I had no idea this was happening. I hope increased volume does not decrease the outstanding quality we have experienced so far. It seems a bit cryptic, One video said that Martin and crew would still be assembling guns by hand, another said that volume could increase due to the tooling now available for the RAW.

After working on the AF talon I bought for my son a couple years ago I would have to say their quality may be going down if AF is the ones doing the work and over seeing it. The frame on the Talon was not machined flat or it was warped. I made a trigger guard similar to the one talon tunes made that uses an AR-15 grip instead of the crappy AF grip and also ties the frame together to make it more rigid. I was installing it and realized there was a gap between the frame and my billet trigger guard. My first thought was some how when I milled the block it didnt mill flat. I grabbed a parallel and laid it on my block and it was perfectly flat. I laid it on the AF frame and it had a gap of almost an eighth of an inch on at the end of the parallel. So either the frame was milled poorly or the frame warped during the milling from stress and they let it go out.
