some months ago i remember seeing pictures or video of a raw HM1000 mini carbine. did they ever start making this? my search did not find any info.

Hey Scott, the mock-ups we showed at SHOT were just prototypes. We are going to be producing the HM Micro but we are still working on development and testing and while we don't have an exact timeline we are working to get them to market as soon as we can. We are still making some tweaks to the shroud system, but development is coming along nicely and I'll share more info on things like shot count, velocities, etc as I have it.

That would be the only.chasis gun I'd buy from RAW. If the barrel is less than 15" and if the rear stock was removed would it be a candidate for Field Target pistol competition in .177 of course.!?

I like short rifles, but the tacti-cool stock can go in the trash. I'd chop my Theoben in a heartbeat, but the wood stock would stay. Sorry if others disagree.

Agreed I think that chasis on the regular barreled RAWs looks like trash. I'm sorry but the original RAW stocks that Martin made were excellent. You couldn't give me that chasis on a regular length barrel RAW.

Yes I think that the original stocks that Martin made had more style and class. Tacti- cool is ok for a beater rifle. But for bench I want the original designs.

RAW has a lot of competition to deal with. Nothing can remain the same. I like the chassis rifle and think they did a great job with it to add more versatility. I would have bought one if there were better options to make it quiet.

I was very close to buy the the RAW hm1000x LRT, beautiful rifle and quiet accurate if you do your part, but the noise level was the reason i backed out from the deal, I like the offset shroud shape but it doesn’t do a good job quieting the gun, RAW needs to pay attention to that.
