Tuning Raw HM1000x using loctite 771 on stainless threads

Working on the hmx air delivery system…using the best filling reg tester which is stainless 

the reg body is stainless, the bottle valve is stainless. 


all these components have to be threaded into each other multiple times. When de-pressurizing the gun, these thread are used under extreme pressure. This causes galling..has anybody ever used products like loctite 771? 
Nickle based anti seize…will it harm the orings?

LB771 is described as a general purpose anti-seize compound, so I expect it should be fine. The product info should include its appropriate temp/pressure range. It's probably thick enough to be applied in such a way that it shouldn't migrate to an O ring.

O-rings are CHEAP .... that should be the least of your concerns. Yea the nasty silver anti-sieze or moly / graphite assembly lube such as Bel-Ray would be just fine.

Corny i use white Teflon Tape ,just 2 or 3 wraps it lubricates and creates a tight seal,it has stopped any marring and galling issues i had with my tester

I messed up my bottle valve and my huma reg by removing the bottle several times asked huma what they would suggest and said a small amount of moly grease to stop galling

A sparing amount of ceramic or moly grease is what huma told me thankfully they are sending me a new reg for my raw but I still had to buy a bottle valve
