Raw hm1000x LRT question

I think the answer is always the same, it depends on the individual barrel. Poly barrels were originally designed around jacketed bullets, and many people say they lead foul more quickly than traditionally rifled barrels. That may be, or, it may be that the lead fouling simply affects accuracy quicker due to the increased contact area in the bore, kinda the same thing I guess. I've owned only one air rifle with a poly barrel, but, due to other issues, did not keep the rifle long enough for a fair test. I can only say that during the initial 200 or so rounds, that barrel needed cleaning more frequently than my other barrels.
