Evidently I only have 2ea .22mags, does the current HM1000x use the same magazine specs as the originals? (HM serial number prefix). .25/.22 setups

No the new mags are wider I think u can still order them or I would check with Martin at airguns USA

Like said above, the older breech is smaller thus so are the mags. You can purchase the older mags from RAW TN (877) 247-4867 Ext. #105 Rachel. I have an older model too, purchased them speaking to Rachel. FYI, they also carry right hand load mags which I purchased because I use a parallax scope wheel.

The right hand mags would have been nice back when the rifles were introduced
