RAW hm1000x chassis close range vs long range

I am interested in purchasing this gun, I just want to be sure it would be just as accurate at 20 yards as it would be at 50, 80. This is my first pcp and will be my only one. From popping chipmunks in my backyard to hitting paper at 50-100 yards is what I would like to do. I’m a noobie so please don’t rip me apart lol. Will any AR stocks fit on this if I’m not happy with the one that comes with it?

Thanks!

Enable the gun to accurate at 50 or 100 yards it has to be really really accurate at 20 yards first. It’s. A great gun and known to be very accurate so I am fairly certain it will be fine at 20 yards. HOWEVER to be accurate at 100 yards you can’t be shooting at really low power and that might be a bit too much at 20 yards, be careful with back stop because if it’s too hard it might ricochet back, ask me how I know!

Btw the only one gun idea will soon go out of the window, as in very soon! Hahaha

This is my RAW HMx LRT Chassis .22. Will be more accurate than the shooter as most all high end PCP's are. My back yard range is 20yd max, here is a 4 shot group, if the conditions are great then you can get close to MOA @ 100yds, great guns for sure. I don't think you would be disappointed in purchasing one. If you decide to get one, you can custom order one from Martin himself, another recommendation would be Ken Hick's of SPAW whom I purchased mine from and will tune it to your specs. And, yes, any

AR furniture will fit the Chassis. The Chassis is over a pound lighter than the wood versions.

They are awesome air rifles. I’ve owned more than I can count on my fingers over the years starting with a previous brand called the Theoben in England which Martin also ran

Now you just have to decide on the caliber. If your largest beast is a chipmunk or squirrel, I would suggest 22 caliber. Relatively inexpensive compared to the 25 or 30.

They are heavy, which makes them fantastic for punching paper. Not the rifle I would take on a stroll in the woods.

No worries! I have medium chubby hands so the small OEM grip fits me perfectly. I do have a couple of Magpul slimline vertical grips I could swap out but am fine for now. The PRS butt stock is one a few guys are putting on their RAW Chassis and AA Evol's. I thought about changing to the PRS but the OEM one fits my cheek weld really well so need for that change either for now.
