RAW HM1000X .25 with external plenum pics

I just got machined and installed an external plenum of 25cc in my RAW HM1000X .25 60 ftlb version. 

Before the plenum it was doing 900 fps with 34 grain jsb and after installing the plenum it jumped to 950 fps.

I didn't touch any settings. All the increase of 50 fps is just due to additional plenum.

I am not a machinist myself so I advise the design to my machinist. 

He works great.

can we assume if you tuned it down back to orig 900 you would have more shots ?

I didn't take the shot count yet but I am sure that if I tune it down to 900fps, I will gain at least 12 more shots

I tried by adjusting hst now and the 34 grain jsb went to 975 fps.

Is there a gauge on the bottom of the plenum? Of all the photos you posted, not one show the bottom (end) of the plenum. Thanks,

No I didn't make option of regulated gauge at this stage as it will protrude from the stock, it can break.

However I will make one more end cap with the gauge option. That I will use carefully only when I will have to check or adjust the reg pressure.

So someone FINALLY MADE USE of that useless nearly THREE DECADES OLD PLUG on the BOTTOM of the RAPID that others tend to use as a Quick fill or Manometer port. A manometer at the bottom of the plenum would definitely serve a very good purpose to check reg setting and well being.
