RAW Certainly has their regulator consistency dialed in

Just received my second .22 RAW HM1000X LRT today and ran my first 25 MRD’s over the chronograph while sighting in my scope. Martin is at the top of his game setting these awesome rifles up.

I’m in no way criticizing anything about the RAW guns or any other. If you understand tuning….even a crappy performing regulator will produce very tight shot strings if you use a lot of hammer. I’ve said this many times….the reg gets all the credit when shot strings are good, and takes all the blame when they are poor. Neither is actually true. It’s a good thing to understand this.

Mr. Thomas, you are correct and your builds and Martin's builds are fabricated to the highest standards that I've seen, hence the consistency of the velocities from rifle to rifle (winning competitions consistently), a testament to both of your incredible craftsmanships and build standards! I thank you both for producing such incredible shooting machines!

Hey Mike,

How would you differentiate a good regulator from a crappy performing one?
