RAW Airguns Quality Question

Interested in a RAW TM1000 or HM1000 in .177 for FT. How is their quality after Air Force bought them in 2018? Are they still top-notch?

Also, what would be better for FT, the TM1000 or HM1000?

Thanks,

Antoni

Hey Antoni,

To answer your question about what would be preferred, most FT guys are running TM's. The only differences between a TM and an HM are essentially that the TM is single shot and the HM is a multi-shot fired from a mag ( although we do offer single shot trays for the HM as well) . You also get a slightly different trigger in the TM as it lacks the manual safety of the HM models, typically triggers come from us set around 3-5 oz but can be adjusted to your liking. Right now, we are only offering the TM models in our aluminum chassis configuration, however, we have had a few shooters run them in FT with a few different configurations and do quite well with them ( see the attached photo of Jeff Cloud's HMx in a chassis set up for the Textreame 100 yard FT match in Texas last month). Martin may have some older style wood sporter stocks on hand available through Airguns USA if you call him. Every gun is still built and tested by Martin individually before it leaves the TN facility. Right now wait times are about 12 weeks due to the huge volume of orders we have on hand and of course the ever changing availability of materials but we are still doing our best to meet the demand we have for orders. Whether you order straight through us or give Martin a call I'm confident we can build a gun for you that will preform as needed.
