RAW air leak

I have a RAW 30 cal that was leaking air. Had my regulator changed to one from Huma Air. Was working fine, then after 55 shots all the air leaked from the from my tank again .ou could hear the air leaking through the barrel. Well I took the the gun apart checked the o-rings, all okay. I tried to fill the gun again with the same result of air leaking out. Two days later I tried fo fill the gun again but first I cocked the hammer first and unbleavable the RAW took the air charge. What the heck was going on. I'm really disappointed in the fact that there is very little technichal information about RAW wepon problems and for sure why can't ther be a schematic of these actions so you could see what's going on.

It's not unusual to have to cock the action when filling from empty. But, that doesn't explain your static leakdown. Although any reg can need maintenence or repair, the RAW is typically excellent, and one that I would choose over the Huma.

The RAW action is very simple. Drift out the trigger group pins, and after the trigger assembly is out, everything else comes out when you unscrew the hammer spring adjuster. Note the order of the parts. I laid them out and took a picture. I've never had the valve assembly out, but I believe it's just as simple. Good luck with the leak.

The RAW regulator with Peek seat will out preform the Huma, however the Huma regulator is smaller/shorter in length. The shorter regulator will increase you plenum space, providing more air "on-board" for each shot, increasing power - marginally.
