RAW Rapid RAW .30 fps sweet spot with 44gr JSBs?

Depends on accuracy. But I would try around 880-900 by increasing HS tension about a 1/4 turn each shot and check accuracy till you hit 880 then it's up to you when to stop increasing HS tension. Reg pressure is usually around 140-150 from Martin or Airforce for all calibers. Yours is shooting a little slow. Shot cycle should be QUICK and SNAPPY 👍.

I thought it was shooting mid to upper 800s when it was new, was surprised to see such low fps reading. Haven’t chronohraphed it in years, wonder why the drop 🤔. Thanks for replying @Ranchibi ….again!
Maybe it needs a little TLC from Martin! I actually need to send him my .22 as the sear spring broke and it has been 3 years since he last serviced it.

Shot one of mine today with AEA 45s. I was off by 8.1 that I posted above. I’ll get a crono string on my other one tomorrow.

Interesting , I just got some Jts 45 gr. Pellets that seem to shoot better in both my 30s than the jsb s. Took my Skout epoch compact out to my buddy s range the other day to get the dope for my free Kenton turrets for my Gpo compact. Didn’t do the official spread etc. since I was more interested in average speed at different yardages. Anyway looking forward to getting the turret and see if it’s on. FPS around 890.

In my .30cal RAW, I shoot 45 & 50gr AEA pellets at 880-900fps and can easily group 1 MOA at 100yds, and even that small in the wind if I read it correctly.
I am shooting AEA 45s at 890-ish but can't get the 50s above 840. Did you raise your reg pressure to get them up to 880? I already have 2 washers on the HS.

No, I have an extended plenum. The reg is still at 145bar as stock. I don't want to raise the reg, because it will eventually make the shot cycle harsh and not be conducive to long distance accuracy.
