AGN,

See it here first;

average energy across 30 shots = 59.86 fpe

pushing the RAW off the reg still gets ya almost 50 good shots at 25 yds

"Dirte"
"Jabba954"Is this a different barrel than is standard on the HM1000x LRT?
The standard barrel is a Lothar Walther
. This a polygon barrel it seems. From my understanding it handles heavier pellets at high speed.

Martin also tells me it takes longer to foul. Should be able to validate or debunk that one cuz I'm going to dirty the hell out of it today, lol.

"Dirte"Curious how it is different from my .25 RAW. Also is it worth getting a second?
Seems to me that the "all new" .25 is the standard LRT with the polygon option and a large volume moderator. You can probably buy the polygon barrel + moderator from RAW for a few hundred bucks. This might be worthwhile if you want to shoot heavy pellets at high velocity. Otherwise I think you have more versatility with the LW. If you already have the .25 and you want another RAW the .30 might be better a option. In fact, RAW has a .30 red laminate available for immediate delivery right now!

I've been told by a friend that the latest models come with a chokeless polygonal barrel (His info came from our local RAW wholesaler.)
Funny thing is I have been shooting my converted .25 Boss for over 2 years using that kind of barrel ;) (I don't like choked barrels in general, IMO a good barrel doesn't need one to shoot great. )
They indeed don't foul quickly, because there is no restriction causing the fouling. And they are clean within 4 patches if you decide clean them.
Definitely great barrels, especially a fantastic match with the king heavies.

Steve, looking forward to your video, I really like them :)
Keep up the good work.

Cheers, Gijs
