Another rattler at the archery range. When I'm out in their neighborhood I don't mess with snakes, they're just doing their thing and I'm in their neighborhood so live and let live...BUT...when they're hanging out by the archery range target where my wife goes to retrieve her arrows then I gotta get rid of them. Now dragonflies...gotta watch out for them!

Mojave and southern pacific are nasty.
Neurotoxic components that are pretty potent , not common in American vipers
Also desert, where they are in the shed cycle effects depth of coloring too.
The timber has 3 distinct venom groups here too.
