I have fenced off around the bottom of my porch and sheds. I have a lot of woods behind my house. The animals are given free range; but I hate rats. I have Fisher Cats that get rid of raccoons and pesky ground hogs. Shame they go after any pets. I have killed 3 rats of a large size. I use .177 pellets and it seems to do a good job. I stomped on one and it tried to bite me and my wife took off it's head with hedge clippers. It was almost the size of a cat. I have a trail and who knows what comes down it. I have milk snakes that deplete the mice. Glad I found this group.Eddie.
