This location continues to have problems with rats even though I have been thinning out the population as much as I could. I couldn't imagine just how bad it would be if I never shoot at this location a year ago. Farmer are using poison as well, but that didn't seem to put any dent to the population at all.

Bad for the farmer, but perfect for me where I can sharpen my shooting skills.

Enjoy.

@Max115 Finally took some time to watch this. Those close up shots are tough. Good shooting at 7 yards. The running rat between two and three was having none of it. That was a pretty nice jump into the crack. And the one that came out by the wire and headed back in looked like he busted you. Do you think they can smell you when the wind is in their favor? Speaking of wind, is it ever an issue for you while ratting? Thanks for sharing. The farmer ought to be happy. There was a lot of activity.

@Ezana4CE. Thank you for watching. I don't like the close up shots as I often messed it up with the holdovers. I prefer the 25+30yard shots as that was my zero for the HW100. The wind doesn't effect my shots much with the rats because of the close range 5-50 yards. Maybe the 45-50 yards, but not much. I might have smelled me, but either way they are very edgy here as too many of their buddies never returned home after my visits, lol.

Wait for the next rats video as the birds are gone inside the barn and I was able to shoot the rats inside. It was really busy the first night and second visit. Lots of rats got tagged as they entered into the barn at 22-25 yards from my shooting spot.
